Ok so we are on a trip in Kalamazoo Michigan and for lack of better words this place is dull. There is not much to do and you wouldn't think that there are any places here that you could find good interesting food. Well we were wrong about that, today Rene found a place call the
Hunan Garden and the food was excelent. We started off with the Chili dumplings and they were the suprise of the whole trip, they were so good in fact we ordered 2 plates of them. These dumplings had just the right amount of heat and were full of flavor the sauce was so good that I used it to put on my rice that was with the main dish. The sesame was not toasted and added a nice note to the chili sauce, the dumplings were just right not overdone and not underdone. We could have made lunch out of two orders of these and called it a day but we ordered main dishes (for the blogs sake of course).

So on to the mane dishes mine (Justin) was Ding Duck, this was good and the presentation was great. The one thing that I liked about this dish was the variety that it came with. The dish comes with your choice of soup, 2 Crab Rangoons and either white or fried rice. This was a spicy dish but not to spicy, the duck was made just right, not over done and easy to eat. The sauce was full of flavor and the carrots, peppers, and onions were a great addition to the meal. The Crab Rangoons were some of the best that I have had, they were almost sweet and had just enough crab and cream cheese to make it well balanced.
